The more specialized databases listed below offer access to many women's studies topics; however due to the very interdisciplinary nature of the discipline, databases in other subject areas may be highly useful for your topic. A topic related to the pyschology of gender, for example, may be more appropriately searched in the PsycInfo database, or a women's medical issue may best be searched in Medline. Make an appointment with the Women's Studies Librarian if you are not sure what databases might be most useful for your topic.
