Tilt Brush

Importing Media

Tilt Brush allows the importing of:

  • 3D Models (OBJ, FBX) (Vive Only)
  • Images (PNG, JPEG)
  • Videos

Vive Instructions

  1. Using File Explorer on the PC, go to the Tilt Brush Media Library ( C:\Users\PFW Library\Documents\Tilt Brush\Media Library ).
  2. Put the file you're importing into the correct folder.  (e.g. Images folder for images)
  3. Go to Tilt Brush on the VIVE.
  4. Point at the left controller and select "More Options…"
  5. Select "Labs."
  6. Select "Local Media Library."
  7. From here, you can switch between objects, images or videos, and import the ones you previously put into file explorer.

Oculus instructions

  1. Connect the headset to the desktop using the cable that says "Quest Link Cable."
  2. Go to the file explorer on the PC.
  3. Go to the Tilt Brush Media Library ( This PC\Quest\Internal shared storage\Tilt Brush\Media Library ).
  4. Put the file you're importing into the correct folder. (e.g. images folder for images).
  5. Disconnect the Quest from the PC.
  6. Start up Tilt Brush.
  7. Point at the left controller and select "More Options…"
  8. Select "Labs."
  9. Select "Local Media Library."
  10. From here, you can switch between images or videos and import the ones you previously put into file explorer.
