Online Resources

The library subscribes to numerous databases which provide access to historical and current regional, national, and foreign newspapers.

These databases provide access to news programs and other informational videos.

There are websites that also offer access to a variety of print and video news sources.

Microfilm

Not all newspapers are online, especially ones that have stopped publication or the older issues for ones that are still being published.  If you have the title of a specific newspaper you're looking for, try searching the catalog.  You can see whether Helmke Library has the newspaper online, in print, or on microfilm.  You may have to look at more than one record by the same name to see all the options.
